“Hindsight” is a personification of the sense of going through life blind. It’s about the empty feeling of being lost in the daily tasks and stresses of life. It’s about missing out on life’s most meaningful moments and losing touch with the ones you love, as well as yourself. Although you are regretfully aware of what is happening, you decide to keep the blindfold on because the habit has metastasized. The echoing thoughts of self-doubt, regret, and reflection seem never ending and can build upon themselves, culminating into an unbearable state of mind. Where do we go from here? Do we have a choice? Do we keep the blindfold on or do we decide to take it off?
