My name is Bree Pittinaro and I started dancing when I was 5 years old. I have been dancing for 10 years and I currently dance at Dancing Plus in Pembroke Pines. I aspire to attend St. Thomas High School and move on to Florida State University. I find that dancing allows me to let go of all my worries and stress and lets me connect with the music. When I am dancing I am able to let go and feel uninhibited and content. Mrs Idy has played a huge role in my life and was one of my first dance teachers. She has always pushed me to work my hardest and she believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. I could not ask for a better mentor and friend. I was so grateful to be asked to participate in Âme because I knew it would challenge me to be a better dancer. The process of being in my first film was fun, but was difficult to say the least. In spite of that, I cannot wait to make another film with the incredible “Âme family". The dancers who are a part of the Âme company are my idols and I am blessed to be listed alongside them. While being a part of the Âme Project I hope to grow as a dancer and become more confident with myself. I truly feel blessed to be a part of this amazing and talented group. Dance has always been number 1 in my life. I also value working hard at school and I am grateful to be a Member of the National Junior Honor Society. When I'm not at school or dancing, I enjoy taking walks and working out. I also love to spend time with my family and friends. There are many people that I would like to thank for getting me to where I am today. I am thankful to my GG and my parents for being my biggest cheerleaders and always being there to support me. I am grateful for my home away from home, Dancing Plus. I love all the staff and of course all my amazing friends. Another huge thank you would go to Mrs. Idy. She has always guided me in the right direction and supported me from the very beginning. Her dedication to her students amazes me and inspires me to work harder. I hope to continue to make her proud.
