I have been dancing for 9 years and received my dance training from Dancing Plus as well as the Varsity Pantherettes. I am currently attending Somerset Academy. Some dance credits I have are becoming a Teen True Performer for Intrigue Dance Convention, making it onto the Varsity Pantherettes at Somerset Academy, and winning Miss Teen Hype for Hype’s Dance Competition. What inspires me the most about the art of Dance is the freedom that dance contains because it can be such a creative outlet for people to share and express their thoughts and ways of thinking. Every single one of my dance teachers has shaped me into the dancer I am today. Each of them have taught me many valuable lessons, and they have pushed me past my limits in every class I take from them. Also dancing around so many of my talented friends definitely has shaped me into the dancer I am today because they always push me to improve and inspire me every day. My future goals as a dancer are to continue dancing throughout high school and still pursue it in college. I decided to join the Âme Project because the intentions behind it are incredibly inspiring and eye-opening. This project is just truly an amazing opportunity and I can’t wait to see where this project takes itself. With the Âme Project I would hope to make an impact on viewers with the dances we perform and hopefully change their point of view and perspective on many levels. Some other interests I have other than Dance are reading and swimming. I would like to thank my family for my journey so far because they will always be my number one supporters no matter what. Especially my mom because she has done everything for me and has always been there for me. Also my Dance teachers because each and every single one of them have always pushed me to be a better dancer and they have never stopped believing in me since the beginning. Last but not least, my dance friends, I will be forever grateful for the special bond we have created over the years. They have always supported me and have always been there for me. Dancing with them every day is something I will never take for granted, and I am so thankful to be able to call them my best friends.
